This documentary looks at pundits-for-hire who present themselves as scientific authorities as they speak about topics like toxic chemicals, pharmaceuticals and climate change. Merchants of Doubt is a 2014 film directed by Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Robert Kenner, based on the 2010 book of the same name by Naomi Oreskes and Erik M. Conway.
