Statement of Dr. Bill Honigman
I believe, like Bernie Sanders, that besides the omnipresent threat of Global Nuclear War and Catastrophes, Global Climate Change is the number one threat to humanity and to our collective security. Global warming is already producing drought, flooding, famine, air and water contamination and the spread of potentially uncontrollable communicable diseases, and will only get worse if left unmitigated.
The time is now to take action, to protect our children and grandchildren, and to provide real and lasting security by demanding the development of sustainable communities here and around the world.
Bio of Dr. Bill Honigman
Dr. Bill Honigman, has been a full-time practicing “ER doc” in Orange County, California, for over 30 years. He is a husband and father of two grown sons.
“Dr. Bill” has been a Democratic Party activist all his life, and is currently the Orange County Chapter Leader and California State Coordinator of the national grassroots organization Progressive Democrats of America (PDA), for which he also serves as Co-coordinator of National PDA’s Healthcare as a Human Right Issue Organizing Team (IOT).
