Update, October 15, 2015

We had a great rally yesterday. Here’s a shot of some of the participants.

Participants in the People's Climate Movement rally
People’s Climate Movement is calling for a national day of action on October 14 to advocate for jobs, justice, and clean energy. To express their support, members of Orange County for Climate Action and Sierra Club’s Angeles Chapter will assemble at the Orange Circle, located at the intersection of Chapman Ave and Glassell St at noon that day. The public is invited to join them in what they hope will be a powerful call for meaningful action on climate change.

Update Thursday, Oct 8:

A number of nearby restaurants are offering vegan options that day.  See the list below. (Many thanks to Barbara for arranging this).

In the evening that same day there will be a special event at Chapman University: An Evening With Gene Baur: Living The Farm Sanctuary Life.  Join us then!
